Batteries are sold separately; 2 pcs AA required.
IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable batteries.
Built-in LED light source.
The soft light creates a non-glare light in the dark and means that the battery time lasts much longer.
The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.
The built-in timer turns the lamp off after 15 minutes.
The lamp should be put on the floor and not on a bench, shelf or other place high up.

“GREJSIMOJS decorative lighting shaped as a giraffe came from the idea of a lamp with a moving head. To meet all the tough safety requirements for children’s products, I needed to redesign it a few times, but each new challenge opened doors to better solutions. Slowly the lamp’s personality grew, and the result was both more fun and more well-thought-out. For me, it's more than just lighting. It's a friend to keep you company and watch over you as you're falling asleep."
