Bad for cold drinks, already rustedAnonymousPurchased about two months ago and I'm already seeing rust spots. When you put cold drinks on them they have water condensation, I guess that's what did it? What's the point of a coaster if you have to dry it after every use. I should also note, even if you do clean it you will still have streaks... even with a spray cleaner and a wipe, still streaky. It will never look the same as it did when you got them from the store.1
Coasters for DaysTammieLove these gold coasters, my only complaint is I wish they were a tad bigger, but I knew the size when I bought them & still couldn’t pass them up. Love the soft bottom, it keeps my vintage side tables safe from scratches & water marks.5

Although they look very sleek on a counter, they're utterly useless for anything larger than a standard sized mug. Oversized mugs actually hang over the coaster, defeating the very purpose of the coaster, and I also found like another reviewer that any drink with condensation would stick to the coaster or slide off the coaster. I would return these, but can't seem to find my receipt. IKEA, any way you can let me return these items without a receipt?!1

Bad for cold drinksHennyThe condensation from cold drinks makes the coaster stick to the cup. The coaster is neither light enough to stay on the cup nor heavy enough to stay on the table. The end result is it drops to the floor every time you try to drink something...just horrible and untested. Looks good but impractical. Might be ok for hot drinks.1
