Mug gets hotYvonneI had a small Gladelig bowl years ago and loved it, so when I saw these mugs on an endcap, I bought two right away. As many others have said, the size and shape of the handle is poor, but for me the real problem is the heat. These Gladelig mugs get very very hot. Because of the handle, you will likely touch the mug with your finger and it's uncomfortable. Even taking a sip of freshly made tea is too hot on the lip (the mug, not the tea). It’s a shame because they’re beautiful. 3

I love the look of these mugs, but I also really enjoy the size and weight of them. They are sturdy and they hold a decent sized cup of coffee or tea.

Great value considering the glazed finish on the cups. Similar ones from other brands are around $30 each so great value. We bought 6 in each colour.

"GLADELIG tableware is made with reactive glaze, which gives the surface a livelier, handcrafted expression. We also put a lot of work into finding the right proportions and curves to make the shapes feel harmonious. The idea is that the plates will suit many different dishes and occasions – from TV dinners to weekend meals. One favourite is the medium-sized plate with slightly higher edges which we think combines tradition and contemporary design in a nice way."
