Poor constructionDontPurchased spring of 2021 for ~$300. Used mostly without reclining fully. The chair sat in front of my TV. No kids, no jumping; usually sitting with the leg extender up.
The chair doesn't stay in reclined position without continued effort. To keep it reclined flat requires constant effort.
Last week, I decided to donate the recliner because it is no longer needed. Moving it out of the room I saw one of the rear legs was about to break away. The leg is a sturdy metal, but the plywood is jointed with long staples, but no glue at the joints.
Since this can't be donated, I started breaking it down for recycling. I discovered the cross-beams in the middle, bottom had also separated. They're held together with long staples, no glue. The whole chair was on the verge of collapse.
Arms are very narrow. There isn't enough cushioning on the arms; leaning to sides hurts the elbow and forearms.
In my estimation, if this chair is reserved for guests it would work OK. This isn't a daily chair.
