Things to watch out forJo AnnOverall I am happy with this purchase however there were two things that disappointed me. First from the image the drawers look deep but the actual drawer is not as deep as the outside cap that is visible. And the second was that I also purchased a desk at the same time. I thought from the dimensions that it would fit cleanly under the desk when not in use. The dimension diagram did not include the wheel height and the desk has something under it that was not included in its dimension chart so the end result is it juts out a few inches. 4

Looks great and it's easy to assembleThiagoIt looks solid, works well and it's easy to assemble. The drawers have a nice size to organize items and the casters work smoothly.
To make it even better all that's needed is more colour options.5

Assembly takes a while and went mostly very well. Only assembly issue was the bottom and middle drawer were not going in all the way...luckily figured that out after while.
There are adjustments for the drawers (a screw and dial) that are helpful.4

Don't waste your timeLindaI bought this set of drawers because it had a lock. I put in the labour of assembling it and then tried to work the lock. The instructions for the lock need words - the photos are useless. I now have a useless set of drawers because it has somehow locked the top drawer and I tried all 999 possible codes and none opened it. So frustrating! It weighs a ton, so returning it is going to be a big pain.1
Poor quality control on soft close hardware.AnonymousBought Galant 3-drawer unit while it still was in the showroom with the “New” tag. As the proud owners of several apartments worth of IKEA furniture we expected fairly straightforward assembly. Images in instructions are similar to the parts provided, but clearly from an earlier design. Ease of assembly suffered making this the worst assembly I’ve ever had to date. Worst of all the soft close on the lowest of the three drawers isn’t working properly. This is the first product we’ve ever had to return to Ikea.l due to a hardware fault. Other two drawers that are working feel exceptionally cheap considering the price. The Gallant Drawers look great, but feel like your standard $80 IKEA desk drawer set resulting in a 1 Star value rating.1
