Great counter-height folding stoolAnonymous reviewerWe already have two comfortable counter-height stools for our peninsula, but we were looking for a temporary solution when we have additional guests who want to hang out in the kitchen. These are pretty much perfect for the price – for $50 you get stylish and sturdy stools with back support, a footrest, and pivoting plastic feet that won't damage your floors. The only reason I didn't give 5 out of 5 is that the curvature at the back of the seat is a little aggressive (whose butt is shaped like that?) but it's not that noticeable when you are enjoying the reclining position. Happy with this purchase. 4

Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
