Who designed this shade assembly!ChristineLamp super easy to put together but who thought that having a shade that you need to put together was a good idea, needs to rethink that!!! I am ready to go buy a new shade and throw this one out!
What you are looking forMohammedGreat lamp, goes well with the colors in my hall. I bought 2 of them and they look great. I do wish they were a little taller though.
Now more importantly, putting on the share on its frame was so difficult! Here's the trick - remove the small ring in the middle and then put on the shade. Put the ring back on in the end. Hope this helps someone!
La logique de constitution est absurdePierre-AdrienIl faut jouer au fabriquant de marionnette en organisant minutieusement l'abat-jour sur le cadre en plastique mais l'abat-jour est pré-formé par son pliage dans le carton et, donc, a déjà une forme qui ne tolère que difficilement l'assouplissement requis pour être mis sur la tête. Je ne comprends pas du tout. Sur d'autres objets, Ikéa est très intelligent mais, là, c'est vraiment absurde et ça rend un truc très moche.
Price and qualityAmyyThe quality was very poor. The joints broke very easily with even the slightest impact, and overall it was not good at all. It felt almost disposable. This level of quality is truly disappointing and concerning for IKEA products.

Don't understand the negative reviewsWayneThis lamp adds a classic style to the living room. The lampshade is flat-packed and it takes patience and a gentle hand to attach it to the metal frame. Take your time to follow the instructions carefully. Apply gentle pressure to put the clips in place and also to curl the edge of the rim over the frame. The rest of the assembly is pretty straightforward.
