Design IssueTerryThe mounting holes are not countersunk. I don't have a countersink tool, so after taking 3 minutes to assemble the unit, it took an hour or so for me to make my flathead screws flush with the back board. Also, the front rod should be attached after the unit is mounted on the wall because the rod partially blocks the mounting holes. The amount of storage space is less than it looks. Mounting screws and hardware are not provided.

Great kids bookshelf by top bunkJaneI mounted this on the wall by my son's top bunk bed. Makes bedtime stories easier to access. Wider than the IKEA spice shelves I've used for my other kids' books.
Almost perfectJasonI intended to put this shelf behind a door. I measured such that I had just over 9cm of space between the wall and door, which according to the measurement given by Ikea would be a perfect fit. Lo and behold, when I opened it up and measured the actual shelf, it was more like 9.7cm once the crossbar is on. Grrr. Luckily, with a little bit of carpentry, we made it fit perfectly without hitting the door. Now we can use the otherwise wasted space between the wall and door. Also, wish it came in other colours.
