rough surface for computer and mouse, not to clear assembling instructions especially step 21 TariqI would say it's loud rough desk, leg space become squashy when have large metal draws...redo some steps not very easy..best IKEA can post video clips online for assembling 2
Very loud deskOmarThe desk is really loud. Just setting a small item onto the top makes a noise that reverberates through the rather flimsy metal of the desk. I wouldn't purchase this had I known about this, but I'm stuck with it now after spending hours assembling. Also, the instructions for assembly are totally worthless, having you tighten screws before aligning all of them for one piece, which made go back and redo steps a few times. I'd stay away from this desk.2
Solid desk, stylish design MyleneVery solid construction, easy to put together, quite heavy to transport, you’ll need a helper, but it’s worth it!! This design is sleek yet allows for 2 large monitors and a keyboard, plus books or papers. Excellent choice for an at home office. 5
Great deskJohnThis is a very functional desk, easy to assemble and very useful.5
Difficult assemblyNueriI found this desk to be quite difficult to assemble especially if you're doing it by yourself. There are some parts where you have to bend a lot to get the screws the in, esp. under the smaller wooden piece and the corners. I'm glad I didn't pull any muscle in the process. A few screws also didn't make it all the way in. Took me 2 days build this desk, pros are it's quite big and can hold a lot of stuff. It's a nice desk once the pain of the assembly is over.3
Perfect for my workspace! AlyssaI wanted to upgrade from my previous desk (just an IKEA tabletop and legs) with something that looked nicer and suited our home. I checked Amazon and couldn’t find anything with a large enough surface, as almost everything was very shallow. We have other FJALLBO products and they fit in very well into our home design, so when I saw there was a desk in the same line, it was an easy choice. The surface space is great, and holds my laptop on a stand plus two additional monitors, with enough room to have a notepad beside me as well. The shelves are tall for textbooks and binders to fit, and the build is solid - nothing shakes or wiggles. It took my husband and I about two hours to fully assemble, but it was straight forward and the instructions were easy to follow. Love this desk! 5
