Much loved, with a Design FlawUlrichWe have the three-seater and the loveseat, and love these couches. We chose beige, because we know that fabric bleaches where we place the couches in front of a south-facing window. The three-seater is long enough for everyone in our family to stretch out on, and we like the firm and comfy upholstery.
After a little more than two years, three out of four armrests are defective, one of the terminally so. If you lean against the armrest, the particle board that forms the structure comes loose, and that makes the whole thing unstable. The armrests are of a height and apparent strength that they invite sitting on, but one of them caved in from that.
The warranty claim is underway, but a replacement would do simply the same thing under normal use. A rare case of poor engineering!
