Too narrowJacobThe tips of the tongs are too narrow making it very strenuous and difficult to grab food. The ridges on the tips added for extra grip are useless as the tips are not parallel to each other, so the food is "pinched" rather than evenly grasped. They're not good for cooking meats or fish (especially steaks, as the opening is too narrow), deep fryer cooking (as the food easily slips out and makes the oil splash) or even tossing salad. They look elegant but fail to serve their purpose.
