Instructions need to be rewritten Anonymous reviewerJust like the same reviews from others. It all goes well until you have to flip it over to connect the 3 panels that 3/4 beams that connect it all snapped. They need to review the instructions to see why it goes wrong in that step.2
Beautiful not horrible quality and instructions and flimsy piecesJolynnI didn’t think a piece of furniture could take me on such an emotional coaster. I’ve put together lots of furniture in the past with no issues but this dresser was one problem after another. The very top piece came damaged and I wasn’t able to order a replacement piece, but decided to keep it and thankfully, I was offered some money back so I was okay with that. But the instructions said to lay it on its side and attach the side pieces, which was a terrible idle because one of them snapped and broke off. I had to glue and add some extra screws to support it. The instructions for drawer rails weren’t the most clear and I had to completely redo one side. I was so disappointed the dresser is literally held together by plastic screws and locking mechanisms. Once assembled, she’s beautiful. But I don’t feel this will last long as it’s so cheaply made and I feel it would be too fragile to move. I do regret my purchase but it’s already assembled and I live too far from an ikea.1
Ikea cancelled unexpectedly.GretelIt was in stock at the time of payment. I prepaid shipping and putting together and then two days before receiving, Ikea cancelled saying it was not in stock! I have been waiting to reorder and they are saying it may not arrive to reorder while the 25% sale is still on. Very disappointed that Ikea could just cancel after I paid for it.1
Absolute garbageHannaI just bought this dresser because I liked the way it looks. After putting it mostly together, when attempting to slide the back panels in, the entire bottom chip board piece ended up breaking off. It is sooo cheap. I glued it
together as don't fee like taking all apart, driving back returning it..Drawers have missing drilled holes. I'm soo disappointed by this item. This isn’t worth $400. I will be calling ikea next business day. This is not accacceptable1

No Support - Poor engineering - Paper foil feels cheapGarenI get your business model is planned obsolescence or weardown but your foil is so BAD - make the coating you use for bathroom cabinets standard across all that stuff is solid moisture resistant scratch resistance - stop cheaping out - drawer quality sucks2
