Unacceptable Delays and No Support MeganI’m so beyond frustrated with IKEA. I purchased a kitchen and was told the doors were out of stock but would be in the next week — no big deal, I was happy to wait. Then the next week came, and they were delayed again. And again. It’s now been over a month and a half of constant delays and no real help from anyone. At no point did anyone suggest not to build the kitchen before the doors arrived, so I paid to have it installed. Now I’m left with an unfinished kitchen and can’t rent out my unit. When I called, the rep said, “Sorry, there’s nothing I can do,” and that it was my prerogative to wait or disassemble the kitchen and return it — which is ridiculous. I drive a small car. This entire experience has been unacceptable and disappointing. I’ve always loved IKEA, but this makes me never want to shop here again.1
Added Enhet cupboards to a thirty year old IKEA kitchen which closely matches what we have.KateIt looks great but quite quickly has been ripped along the edges from wear and tear of the pots we put in and out of the drawers. Definitely a good solution but not top quality.4
