Unacceptable Delays and No Support MeganI’m so beyond frustrated with IKEA. I purchased a kitchen and was told the doors were out of stock but would be in the next week — no big deal, I was happy to wait. Then the next week came, and they were delayed again. And again. It’s now been over a month and a half of constant delays and no real help from anyone. At no point did anyone suggest not to build the kitchen before the doors arrived, so I paid to have it installed. Now I’m left with an unfinished kitchen and can’t rent out my unit. When I called, the rep said, “Sorry, there’s nothing I can do,” and that it was my prerogative to wait or disassemble the kitchen and return it — which is ridiculous. I drive a small car. This entire experience has been unacceptable and disappointing. I’ve always loved IKEA, but this makes me never want to shop here again.
