Poorly designedNadjaBelieve the reviews - filter these down to the single stars and read the problems of this design. Everything they mentioned is true. We had to drive 1hr to the nearest IKEA to return it and saw many people waiting in line to return the EKETs as well. Don't waste your time and money and get something else.
Trust the reviews, subpar productPiaThis is an ill-conceived product. Trust the reviews, the material is cheap, easily damaged during set-up and likely not durable even once assembled.
Assembly is problematic, no margin of error, if things are not lined up correctly, nothing will fit properly and breaks easily if you try to correct.
The whole point of IKEA is that it is affordable and user friendly. The idea of having to hire a service to assemble this fragile and unforgiving product so it doesn't break defeats its very purpose as a product.
Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere for something decent.
