Nearly impossible to assembleKurtisI’ve put together a fair bit of ikea furniture in my day. This looked like it should be straightforward, but step 5, where you complete the box, is next to impossible to get to line up properly to slot in. If I didn’t have a hammer, it wouldn’t happen. I don’t know if I got a lemon, but this was the absolute worst ikea product I’ve had the misfortune of assembling. Looks nice but avoid putting together at all costs. Awful.
TrashyEvonneThis is the worst thing I’ve ever bought in Ikea, they manufactured it so bad, like how is the assembly so difficult. Not only did they fail to notice how difficult it is to assemble but it’s just not that durable. The part that’s hard to assemble is literally the last panel. The last panel is always hard but this is a product problem, they made it so bad that it just seems like a child made it. The nubs that you use to slide the panels together was a horrible idea. Bring back screws instead of these plastic nubs.
Missing pieceReneeThis was really difficult to put together. I ended up carving a piece out to make it work. After all that I was missing a piece of hardware (will attempt to order it) so the door isn’t even on it yet. I was just happy to have it together. I love the height but I just had too many problems.
Absolute garbageAlexDo not purchase unless you enjoy losing money. The materials are extremely cheap. The structural integrity of the connection and their grooves is abysmal. Took me about two hours to assemble and it looks terrible. Will be returning the remainder of the unopened Eket products I purchased, and will no longer purchase Ikea furniture. The cost of manufacturing all the parts likely did not exceed $10, so charging $70 CAD is ridiculous.

If you have just twoDariuIf you have just two pieces or maybe three one on top of the other …be careful if you want to pick them up…there is only side(back) that keeps together so it is instable…but once in place will not fall
BE AWARE, this product NEEDS to be wall mountedAnonymous reviewerThis unit NEEDS to be wall mounted and not anywhere on the product page does it say so unless you go into ''Product details'' then go in ''read more'' this is extremely misleading.
Every other similar products has this mentioned in the title of the product itself but not this one.
Also very difficult to assemble compared to every other IKEA products I did in the past. You have to drill 12 times into each unit to install the legs, the same two brackets joining the base with the top were missing in the two units I bought. Don't buy the EKET products they are flimsy and cheap.
