Good to know

The hinge crackedIrfanullahWithin a few months of use I noticed the door hinge is cracking.. The drill on the panel is off centred which makes it weaker.1

not worth itMarieFront door panels are hard to adjust, and the adjustment system is poor. Doors look crooked no matter what. So if you have more than 1 unit, none of the doors will look similar. There will be gaps, making it very visually unpleasing.1

Close enoughPamelaI bought this to place beside the two-door eket and the tops are a few millimeters off.. not very noticeable when just glancing over but the tops are not flush as I had hoped. I didnt put feet on the cabinet so the discrepancy is from the actual cabinets. The paint on the corners are rippled and not smooth as expected (a defect and not a style choice). Overall, it does what it's supposed to, minus giving me a seemless row of cabinets.3
love/hateAnonymous revieweri love these eket cabinets. they fit together in bunches beautifully, they’re super versatile and the design is simple and pretty. it seems like quite a lottery though to get one with a properly aligned door. mine fits loose so if i don’t lift the door up as i close it, it scrapes the bottom edge of the cabinet as the door shuts. i wish ikea invested a little more quality in the hardware here.3

StorageMandyI bought this for extra storage in the condo. I used it as a little pantry to store dry foods as I don't have enough cabinet space in the kitchen. This fits well and was exactly what I need. The height is 70cm which can also be used as a side or end table.4

Sturdy and can very useful

These were extremely easy to build they are very sturdy. I am a fan of furniture with no handles, thus the Eket series is my favorite. Very versatile can be used in your bedroom, living room, office.
