Easy to work with, easy to cleanPaulInstalled myself, came very clean looking, used this countertop as the backsplash as well, I think it came out grat. I put the cut on the inside where the stove is, the piece supplied to cover the cut is wider than the countertop and you have trim it, which was a little annoying, can't it just be the right size? But aside from that which is a nitpick I'm very satisfied with it.5

Very hard to cleanNadiaI kind of regret getting these. They look decent and have held up after 4 years, but they are extremely hard to clean. The surface is not smooth, its semi-rough, and there are always sticky spots that don’t come off3
Peeling up after less than 6 months!RobynneThis countertop has started to peel up with less than 6 months after being installed. There has been no water damage to the product at all, and the area it is peeling is barely used. Its peeling around the sealed edges away from the particle board that is underneath!
Its like there was not enough glue put on the edges. No extra heat or anything has touched the area. It was stored in a dry regular house until it was installed too. 1

Little DisappointedJocelynWe bought 2 sections of these laminate countertops last month. The edge of the countertop is already warped from water damage, even with immense caution to wipe and immediately dry the surface. I cannot emphasize enough how diligent we are to never leave any residual water on the countertop or any dampness. The edge, in the worst condition, is directly above the dishwasher. So it seems the edge strip cannot withstand even brief exposure once daily to the heat/steam rising from the dishwasher. This is highly disappointing because the countertops look fantastic, they were easy to install. I hoped for better durability from an item that will come into contact with moisture. 2

EKBACKENCatherineI needed an additional countertop to put ingredients and cookbooks on while using my Kitchenaid mixer. My husband mounted EKBACKEN on the wall of the cabinet next to the mixer with metal brackets that can be lowered or raised when needed. It works perfectly and is a low-cost solution to a problem. The countertop colours were notGailThe countertop colours were not as shown on line. I have the countertop sitting in my carport. I had to go to a local countertop store and pick out the product and colour that I wanted.1
It is difficult to cutClarkeIt is difficult to cut and make a clean edge, as is the case with all laminate countertops.
Would like to see it offered in larger sizes, I currently have a 36 x 96 live edge island because I couldn’t get this in that size.
Generally happy with it, but wouldn’t buy another one unless budget constrained.3
