Wooden coat hangersPeterWe bought some.wooden coat hangers to replace.some.of the flimsy ones that are quite bent from a sourse that sells cheaper quality items. We wanted something stron to last long. Wife is happy. We did get some plastic ones also as they are reinforced somewhat. 5

Great Hangers GwenI purchased a set of these recently and went back to purchase another one. It’s nice that they are available in three different colors. I find the black very classy and it looks great in my hall closet. They are very sturdy and well built and you can’t beat the price for eight of them. They will be able to hold the heavy winter coats
So if you are looking for great hangers at a great price that are going to do the job and not break easily then these are the ones to get.
I think I’m going to go back and buy the white ones for my regular closets upstairs and get rid of the flocked ones that I bought at Costco which break easily. 5

Terrible Quality TaraI’ve always purchased my hangers from IKEA and usually had no issues. Over time, I’ve needed to replace a few, so I bought more recently, but the quality this time was really disappointing. The wood is rough and poorly finished, with several areas where you could easily get a splinter if you’re not careful. I only kept them because they match the ones I previously bought, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend these to anyone. It’s unfortunate how much the quality has gone downhill.1
