I still love itStephanieI wanted to post my review because I saw the negative review on the set-up of this shelf unit. I purchased two of these well over a year ago (maybe even two) and I still love them. The set up might have been a bit tricky at moments, as any ikea puzzle can be, but it wasn't all that bad looking back, I did it mostly solo. I stained the wood shelves to suit my space a bit more, and I love it. I'm actually looking to purchase a third green bror for another room, which is why I saw the negative review. I don't want Ikea to stop making Bror units (especially in green) so here's my review! I love it, it's my main kitchen storage, holds my espresso machine, toaster oven, microwave and a BUNCH of dried goods on the shelves and under shelf cabinet. It's made my kitchen soo much more functional and is nice and sturdy.5
Separate Boxes, Instructions Don't WorkKelseyThis piece is really unnecessarily annoying. The way that the pieces are divvied up onto 3 different boxes is not very user-friendly. The instructions are also in two parts, one for the cabinet and the other for the shelf, but between the two of them they don't show exactly how to put this version of the cabinet+shelf together. The cabinet instructions tell you in Step 1 to put the little plastic feet onto the legs, ignoring the fact that this will make it impossible to mount the cabinet on the bottom of the shelf. There is no clear indication of how the cabinet and shelf go together in the instructions, and the fact that you have to half-assemble the cabinet, then attach it to the already-completed shelf, then put the rest of the cabinet together is very poorly conveyed. Not a smooth experience.3
