sturdy but hard to assembleChitralithe back panel of the cabinet gets loose after use.
Bad smellMarkOK cabinet, but it has a terrible smell. Tried wiping it down with various cleaners. Tried airing it out (fan on it for days we were away). Still smells.
Gap between the cabinet doorsAkanI bought and after assembling the cabinet I noticed that there is a big gap between the cabinet doors.

Great storageJenniferI bought 2 of these, since I lack storage space in my kitchen. I love them. They are very sturdy and deep. The pegs that hold the shelves are metal, which allows for more weight on the shelves.

Inexpensive but classy lookingAnneNeeded an extra cabinet in the kitchen to stand by a wall plug for a couple of small kitchen appliances. This is perfect and also has alot of storage room. Had looked elsewhere and prices were double to Ikea. Classy addition to my kitchen. So glad we got this.

limited by imaginationShaneThese are great. Easy to put together and the cost is perfect. You can do so many things with these and the only thing that's gets in your way is your imagination. We drive from PEI to Nova Scotia to visit Ikea and have bought these several time to add to our home in neat, fun ways.
DamagedLaurenI bought 3 of these. The first 2 look great, but unfortunately, the 3rd one had a chunk out of the top. I had waited a week to build them, and therefore didn't see the damage until after 1 week of buying, so IKEA would not replace the damaged cabinet. Very disappointing.
Quality cabinetKimOne can build it from shipping box in one hour. Pay careful attention to the pictures for orientation of the pieces for assembly.
Piece of junkNicoleThis thing is a piece of junk. None of the pieces align properly. The nails don’t screw in all the way. We wasted a lot of time picking this out, getting it home, assembling, only to find out it’s defective. So now we’re on our way back to IKEA to return it.

Stay with it.DianeOk so I wanted to respond to the posts here with the massive gap as I had this too. I couldn't figure out how my piece could be cut too short. Everything was perfect except the doors. But if you look at the top of them, you'll see that when this happens the doors are also jutting out, not like the Ikea photo. This is a clue that points to two things - the doors are on upside down / backwards and or the latches need to be adjusted... not just screwed in tight. In my case, I tried adjusting the latches, but I became frustrated as they just wouldn't close... so I decided that the only other issue could be the doors ... and I was right - they were also on wrong. I had to flip them first. Then I went back / forth loosening / tightening - basically adjusting the latches until the gap DID CLOSE. So if you stay with it and troubleshoot it, you'll find that the issue is actually not with the piece at all but with your failure to adjust the door latches, or swap the doors and then adjust them.

What is particleboard?
