OkSharonI like the look and the size of the drawers, when assembling the dresser the instructions were not very clear on how to place certain pieces. Which led me to unscrew some pieces and the wood is very soft for the drawers. And some pieces were damaged because of the constant unscrewing ,the only solution ikea gave me was to return one box and they would replace it. That would mean taking apart the dresser and also remembering which pieces went in which box. IKEA needs to come up with a better solution and just replace the broken pieces and not the entire or half of the dresser since it came in 2 boxes.3
NiceSusieFits clothes nicely. It isn't deep, but I knew that. The only thing I’m not a fan is the first with glass. Any colored items, it shows thru. I’m planning to maybe paint it. Otherwise nice furniture. 5
Good dresserSydneyBought two of these dressers to match my nightstands and they are very nice. Easy to put together and it’s solid. They also have super large drawers which was a nice surprise. The drawers don’t open all the way due to the new design, but it honestly doesn’t bother me that much. 5

Drawers dont open as wide as they used to MeganMost of these bad reviews are due to the new design. The rating of this model is now inflated since the older design is what people wanted. If you make a new design of something it's misleading to take advantage of the good reviews the old design had. Ikea do better this is unethical and such an inconvenience 1
Disappointed in BrimnesSimoneI've bought and assembled many pieces of furniture from Ikea but this product by far was the most disappointing. During assembly I had quite a few pieces of the dresser break or crack. But I gave it a chance and went in store and spoke to a customer representative about a broken piece and I was able to get a replacement piece but once completed I didn't have the confidence that this dresser would last. I'm probably going to return this dresser as per the 90 day policy as I'm very unsatisfied. The quality of Ikea products seem to have changed over the years. For reference I actually have the brimnes side table for the last 4 years and it's still holding up including after 2 moves.1
Edges not finished ToniI’d have rated higher but there was too much exposed composite wood on them so they can’t be moved on carpet which is very inconvenient when you live alone and it chips easily as do the edges where the exposed parts are. Also needs soft close drawers3

Hmmm okMikeOK, so I just bought this for someone and put it together. Let me tell you it is cheap! And if you do not use glue while putting this together, it won’t last long at all… From the laminated cardboard, wood, to the plastic fasteners that secure the panels together This thing honestly maybe is worth $150 max!! I’ve bought IKEA furniture before and put it together for myself, the solid wood stuff .. but this is laughable honestly… I know it’s cheap but for this price, the quality and construction could be better! 1
Terrible Drawers and Cheap QualityVeronikaThe new model of this dresser is terrible. They changed the track size, much shorter so drawers only open half way. The drawers in the older model fully open so it is much easier to put in and take out clothes. Quality isn’t great either. Everytime I open a drawer, a piece of fiberboard would chip off. DON’T buy! Would not recommend this product to anyone. 1
Drawers don't open like they used to...JoshuaHave 3 of these dressers from a few years ago. Decided to get another for our son. Drove 200km each way to get it. Built the thing and the drawers only open half way. About 7 inches. Upset, I looked online to see if maybe I had received the incorrect sliders. I discovered they switched to shorter sliders to prevent tip overs. I suppose this helps stop the tip overs as the gap is so small you can't properly put clothes in the thing to give it any weight.
Do you enjoy it when someone parks so close to your vehicle that you can only open the door about 7 inches and you have to awkwardly cram yourself into the gap to get in? Me neither. Very disappointed in the design change.
These dressers already have tip over prevention kits. I hate that we, as a society, have to crawl at the pace of the slowest individual. Having a dresser tip on you because you have every drawer open could be turned into a valuable lesson in physics. Instead, I'm no allowed to put shirts in a drawer.2
Should of checked the reviews before buyingErickShould have read the reviews. Didn’t realize they changed the drawer system so they can’t fully open all the way 🤦♂️. Hey I’m all for child safety, but that’s what the anchors are for. Don’t expect to place your neatly folded clothes into this dresser, it’s tough. 1
Very disappointed in the changes madeAmyI am very disappointed in the changes made to this dresser. I don't understand why you would increase the depth of the drawers and then make the drawer slides shorter. It's extremely inconvenient to open the drawer and have to reach in and back to get your clothes out. To me this makes it more unsafe. My drawer slides are also wobbly for lack of a better term. I worked at IKEA years ago in returns so I have put together my fair share of items and I know that it's nothing I did on my end to make this newer style dresser dysfunctional. I guess I will have to buy some secondary slides myself and change them out. 2
Looks goodNurhakIt is not complicated if you follow the guide comes with, step by step. It looks good. Good high and width. Only the thing I didn't like it is when you open the drawer it isn't very comfortable to put your stuff cause of the depth. Could have been more and this way we could open the drawers more and can be use more comfortably. Still works for me. Overall I liked it.4
