Looks cheapMarcThe base legs stick out a lot more than expected and are a bit of a tripping hazard. The joints show and it just looks very cheap, thankfully our jackets mostly cover it up.2
Looks great, but very unstableAndreaLove the colour and design, but the hooks on the top are quite wobbly and impossible to tighten. As a result, the whole stand is unstable and tends to tip.3
Amazing coat rackRachelIt's amazing and works great in my daughter's room5

Designer thoughts

"Cactuses gave me the idea for the shape of SMED hat/coat stand, which was the first product I designed as an IKEA employee. Then, just as now, it was important that the product should be easy to manufacture, take up little space to transport and be easy to assemble. That the stand now, 45 years later, gets a new life with the name BONDSKÄRET in the Nytillverkad collection I see as proof that the design is timeless."
