          Looks great and trendy but the material is cheap and staticAizhanThe material is plastic and feels cheap when you see up close and touch. Thats why price is not so much, I get that now. Assembly is for no reason difficult. The cap of the lamp is very flimsy and immediately attracted hair and dust! You’ll have to keep cleaning this one. Now that I bought it, I am not sure I want to keep it: might spend a bit more and get a more sturdy lamp.3

          Didn't realize it was 85% plastic...Anonymous reviewerSilly me, I didn't read the materials section of the product page to learn that this is mostly plastic. I had assumed it was metal (like so many of Ikea's other lamps). The post is metal, that's the only piece. My other disappointment is that the cord fits into a channel on the side of the post, it's not designed to run the cord through the post and under the base. Which just makes it look very cheap. So for plastic and some "lazy" design features I have knocked off a star but otherwise it meets all my expectations. I put in a blue LED bulb (that meets the wattage requirements) with the blue version of this lamp and it's so fun looking. This is why I kept it at 4 stars - it's a good dopamine decor lamp especially with a colour matched bulb!4

          Cheap, screws wear outLauraDo not buy. This lamp is made of super cheap materials and breaks easily. The screws wear out, so if you mess up, you can't take the screws out. Mine was a total waste because of the screws and I cannot use the lamp. Brand new. 1

          Cute lampCarlaIt’s very inexpensive which is a plus. It’s not at all bright though. If you are looking for a bright light go with something else. If you are looking for very soft, low light… just a bit better than a night light this, lamp is perfect. It’s exactly what I needed at a very low price. I’m very happy with it. Don’t forget to buy bulbs before you leave the store. You need them!5
