Salad bowlPaulaIt’s just a right size for me to have my breakfast salad every day. I like it5
Blanda Glass BowlDebraI got a few of these bowls when they were on sale. They're a great glass serving dish, dishwasher safe and a nice weight.5
Chipping easilyIngridI love these, size shape and the cclarity, however after months I have 3 bowls/8 that have chippped easily on rim. The past bowls, clear I have purchased at IKEA never chipped & were as thin...disappointed here as i do not believe they will last.3
Slippery when washingYueIt’s all light weight and pretty but when you hand wash it with soap, it’ll become very slippery. It’s just a matter of time when it finally drops into the sink, breaks, and slits your hand in two different spots. I’m getting that OFTAST big bowl now… plus it doesn’t show all the finger prints like thin glass does.1
Are you kidding?ChristopherAfter decades of making consumer housewares you’re making me undergo a two-part process to remove the sticker from the bottom of these four bowls? Really? First I had to soak the paper part of the sticker off overnight and now I have to treat the leftover residue with olive oil to get that part off. I wasn’t expecting a multi-day process to remove a sticker from a product that I just bought from a retailer that should know better. For comparison’s sake I bought a plastic cutlery tray yesterday as well from a dollar store and I peeled the sticker off in three seconds. Why would you annoy your customers like this?2
Love them!JoannaThese are perfect for salads, poke bols or even for setting up a Buffet for your guests :)5
PerfectIngridPerfect size, thin and weight...love these bowls!!! I had clear bowls from IKEA from 40 yrs ago that were thin different sizes and still have some. Awesome!5
Chipped After One WeekOlenaI was happy with the design at first, but after only one week of normal use, the plate already got chipped. I expected better durability.1
BowlValerieSize is perfect. Thin glass easy to break4
A must-have for salads and noodle soupsYahongWhile this product is called a "serving bowl", the base is actually narrow enough that I wouldn't recommend using it for that purpose. However, as a single-portion salad or noodle soup bowl, it's perfect.5

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
