This combination of bookcase and table makes it easy for you to switch between activities – perfect for small-space living.
The lower part of the shelf and tabletop are easy to roll out, fold up and lock in place to keep the table stable and safe to use.

Good study table + bookcaseMominaIt's a good 2 in one bookcase plus study table for a kid or and adult can work. One person can sit on each two sides. Wide space to work. The only thing is when buying a chair you should see the opening size of the table so that the chair can easily fit not that it scratches the side of the table as you try to pull in the chair. The wheels under the bookcase won't slide easily to open on a carpet so make sure you put it on a floor for easy glide when your opening the bookcase. And don't put too many things in the bookcase because they may topple over as you open the bookcase and fall on your feet. Overall great product just some things to keep in mind.
Neat idea, need special environment for it to workAlexandraThe idea of it is great, I jumped at the chance to get this for my daughters room. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on carpet and the notches on the back are too short for my baseboards. I don’t have anywhere else to use it, my house is mostly carpeted
Other colours please!KellyIt's perfect for our little guest space, but I echo what other reviewers have said- we need it in oak/birch/walnut. Anything but white! It makes no sense to have so many colour options in the Billy line but not for this piece! Please!

Back part missingBroderickI ordered the billy bookcase, but the back component of the shelves wasn't included in the set. I ruins it. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it.
AMAZING, except...JulietLove everything about this as far as function goes. Great for space saving, and super useful for my little sewing station, my only complaint is the lack of color choices. The white is terrible, I would love if it came in the brown walnut to match my other Billy's. If they were to release it in the other colors, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Please release it in the other colors. Please. I beg of you.
