Misleading PresentationRachelLiving in a condo, we tried to have it as is, but even when level you can push the entire units side to side easily. The back is not solid so there’s no structure holding this in place and due to how they present the item in story, you would never know it’s unstable until you buy it, put in screws and can’t be returned. Very disappointed as usually IKEA is dependable. It should be labelled clearly in store that mounting to the wall is not just recommended - it’s is a requirement for the piece to be functional.2
Not bad. Also, not as expected.CharityIf it was a full unit, it likely would be sturdier. It was two separate units. Had to screw them together which works for now but if I ever want to move them or sell them they'll have unsightly holes in the sides. I do think they're a bit over priced for what they are... even on sale.4
Reviewed earlier. They removed. Item should be recalledAprilIkea, do the right thing. The review was professional. You have not offered to come fix the matter?
Shame on you.
People, all I can say is I truly don't trust Ikea. Not the customer service or quality as I remember in the 80's, 90's, or early 2000's.
Wish I noticed here the stability. 8 months ago I bought. Can't use or put on doors as already tipped on me when I placed 2 doors on. Not even attaching the 2 units together. It should be recalled.
Wish I had a truck but a single lady screwed out of $800. Yes Ikea, now I am furious you removed an honest opinion of a customer.1
Not what I expect from Ikea Anonymous reviewerDon't buy this thing. It is not square, there is no fixed shelf in the middle to provide rigidity and bracing. Clearly some cost cutting measures. There are no dowels for added support between adjacent fastened panels. It is so flimsy once it is setup. If I could post a video I would. Once the doors are added the weight causes the unit to shift and the doors are parallel to the shelves. It will help once it's fixed to the wall but poor quality. I created an account just to write this review so maybe this poor quality gets addressed.1
Unimpressed - came scuffed and dented MichelleAll the doors on the cabinet came scuffed with the paint peeling. All the scuffs were on the exterior doors. We’re completely unimpressed and do not recommend this product to anyone. 1
Cabinets look good, are sturdy,TammyCabinets look good, are sturdy, very satisfied.5
Very happyCathyI was very happy with the delivery, right on time. Pretty easy to assemble, need two people. Cabinet doors went on easy, just needed some tinkering to adjust them to make them even. Looks greats, just like the picture.5
I was disappointed with theDeloresI was disappointed with the back wall and how flimsy it is.
I do like the rest of the cabinet and how convenient it is to level the back feet.4
GreatHarlemLove the look5
Love the besta, but…KarenI ordered online instead of going to the store, most of the pieces had a corner crashed or scratched; next time im going to the store to pick each piece3
Beautiful cabinet, flimsy frameRobinThis is the first time I have been disappointed with a piece of furniture from IKEA. If it was not so big, and if I had not spent so much time reinforcing it and fixing it to the wall, I would return it. The doors are lovely and the hinges are well made, but take a lot of adjustment since the doors fit so close together. But the big issue is that the frame and the back are flimsy and do not support the weight of the doors. I bought the cabinet because it fit the space I intended for it and it offers a lot of storage space. If my ceilings were taller, I would have went with the Havsta cabinet, which appears to be more solid.1

Love itElisabethWanted the one with glass doors, but this was is just as good. Very sturdy.5
use in any room in your houseBarbaraI also purchased this for storage in a kitchen in a small basement suite. It is "sleek", not so wide that it interferes with movement and holds everything..food/small appliances/dishes etc
(i purchased extra shelves ) Do yourself a favour and let someone else put it together.
There are a number of people who specialize
in putting ikea pieces together (NOT task Rabbit)
and mine was completed perfectly in 45 minutes
Purchasing another one, these are really attractive, low key pieces that do not compete
with existing furniture and hold an incredible
amount of "stuff"5
Nice looking in store, misaligned at homeAnonymous reviewerWe purchased a customized version during the Christmas/Boxing day sale - a set of three instead of two, glass doors in the middle, and legs. The installation was easy until we got to the doors. Not sure if we were doing it incorrectly or missed a step or something, but none of the doors sit straight after installation. The glass doors, especially, hang crooked no matter how many times we readjust probably just due to the sheer weight of the thing. We also had an issue with the hinges - some of the screws just did not go in. We could not get it to move with a hand screw and had to replace a set due to trying so hard that the entire metal part bent. Installing the doors took more time than assembling everything else. It's a nice looking set when installed correctly, but it feels like a lot of work for something that shouldn't be.3
Perfect hideawayAnonymous reviewerStorage for everything that does not invite exposure.5
Perfect for my kitchen. I am using as my pantry!AnonymousI bought this product few months back, and I loved it. I would like to purchase one more in future.5
Kitchen storageAnonymousI purchased two of these units to augment the cabinet space in a newly purchased home. Assembly was a nightmare and very frustrating.1
