Don't do it. Not usual Ikea qualityAnonymous reviewerI read almost all the reviews and decided to take the plunge despite the controversy. I like the style and size. Some reviews said things like inferior quality.....agreed definitely not Ikea's best this thing is flimsy, no adjustments to level.....disagree there are adjustable feet, tips easily.....agreed BUT it is clear this needs to be mounted to the wall. Regarding wall mounting there is no option for mounting in front of an electrical plug or furnace return air which requires a larger distance from the wall than the wall mounts allow. This leaves you with fabricating or improvising somehow because it needs to be mounted to the wall.
I think the biggest issue is that i found no way to level and square up the doors to the flimsy frame. If i levelled the base as per the instructions the square doors weren't flush with the top or bottom of the frame and visa versa.
I do not recommend and am returning but wasted 6+ hours picking up, setting up and returning. Disappointing!
