Just Awful. KrystinaTerribly made. When assembling the screws stripped, the “wood” shredded, the screws didn’t fit into any of the premade holes. The caps for the screws didn’t fit properly. The doors are hanging poorly, they’re dragging on the floor and they leave a hideous gap. Not sure how I can return this, I don’t have a car. I spent almost $1000 on 4 besta units, and the quality is so awful, I bet they won’t be able to withstand wear and tear for more than a year. 1
Easy to put together, but wall mount screws are shortEmilyThis build is super easy to put together, and the quality is good for it being made out of particle board. As usual you can expect some chipping occur on the laminate covering, but that comes with the territory. I also wish they had some kind of plugs for the open screw holes if you so decide to make this an open-faced shelf. I have an issue with the length of screw they provide for the mount, because it's not long enough to even fit through the spacers, nevermind go through your wall and be secure enough. I ended up needing to use my own drywall anchors and screws that were 3X the length of screws they provided. Not sure why they do this but something to look out for when mounting this shelf to the wall.4

They are wonderful storage units. Put side to side in LR and stacked in bathroom!!! So versatile!!!! And the price is unbeatable.

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
