Easy to install, work great!KristenNo issues installing, very clear instructions. The soft close works nicely. Not difficult to get the drawer onto them but it is a bit fiddly. Easy to get the drawers back off. I agree with other reviewers that it would be nicer if they could pull out all the way so that the back of the drawer comes out further. I hope this is changed in the future.4
Bring back old version!AnonymousI needed to add a drawer to an older BESTA unit. The previous version of soft-close drawer runner had full-travel. This new, cheaper version does not fully open, and not as smooth-running. (Also not that new runners are not compatible with old drawers, and vice-versa.) I use drawers to store CDs and DVDs; without full travel, I cannot easily access the ones at the back of the drawer. If I was buy a full unit today, this would be a show-stopper for me. I used to think that if I invested in a modular IKEA system, I could get more of the same parts later. I can no longer count on this. IKEA, this is not your BESTA work. My rating of 2 stars is for basic function, but definitely not happy with this cheapened new version.2

The new runners limit the opening and do not work as smoothly or as neatly as did the earlier version.2
