The wall shelf has one bevelled and one smooth edge on the long side, so you can choose the side you want facing the room depending on which of the two different styles you like the most.

120cm BERGSHULT shelves is not suitable to be combined with GRANHULT brackets, due to risk of the shelf sagging.

If using only 2 brackets on a 120cm shelf, the distance between the brackets should be 70-80cm.

A 47¼" long shelf carries a max. of 44 lbs when supported by 3 brackets and a max. of 22 lbs when supported by 2 brackets, when properly mounted on the wall.

Max. load refers to the max. weight before the shelf is risking to slant. Distribute the weight evenly on the shelf to avoid the risk of slanting.

Screws are not included.

If you are uncertain about what type of mounting devices to use, please contact your local hardware store.

Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.

Beautiful shelves - but one of mine came with blemishesArielI love these shelves, especially with the Granhult brackets. I bought 2 of these shelves in store at Ikea. However, when I opened one of the shelves, I noticed there were white "streak" blemishes that won't go away. Unfortunately, Ikea is quite a trek away from me so I probably won't be returning it but it's definitely an eye sore. The stickers were also annoying to remove - they leave behind a lot of residue. I had to use Goo Gone and a scraper of some sort. Take it from me - do NOT use a paint scraper to get off the stickers. These shelves scratch easily. Use something with a flexible and soft edge - like an old credit card - to get the stickers off. Other than the minor inconveniences, these are quite nice shelves. 4

Simple and niceJenniferI used these with the granhult mounts, Im quite pleased with the results. I especially liked that with those brackets it caps the end of the shelf so it you've cut the shelf you don't see the cut ends. Nice clean look. I also liked that there are two profile options for the shelf edge, I'm more in favour of the simple squared edge but other people may like the scalloped edge, you can choose which faces the wall and which shows.5
The shelf itself is gorgeousRachelThe shelf itself is gorgeous but I’m disappointed that I need to buy brackets separately and even more disappointed to then find that I have to also buy the screws to hang the dang shelf separately. Further the shelf did not come with any predrilled holes2
