With this wall shelf, you can use your empty walls to display your things. Use it in the bedroom, as a sideboard in the living room, a display shelf by the dining table – or whatever you decide.

Product details

The wall shelf has one bevelled and one smooth edge on the long side, so you can choose the side you want facing the room depending on which of the two different styles you like the most.

You can choose to mount the brackets above or below the shelf and thereby creating two different expressions.

The brackets are designed to fit well together when connecting several in a larger combination.

Good to know

The shelf carries a max. of 22 lbs when properly mounted on the wall.

Max. load refers to the max. weight before the shelf is risking to slant. Distribute the weight evenly on the shelf to avoid the risk of slanting.

Screws to mount the bracket to the shelf are included.

Max. load 15 kg (33 lb) depending on type of wall and fastening. Screws for wall mounting are not included.

Perfect for our projectorJustinWe bought this shelf over a year ago. It has been perfect for holding our projector along with other small objects around our bedroom. As another reviewer mentioned small screws, those are meant to secure the brackets to your shelf so it doesn't slide around, after installing the brackets to the wall. (You'll need to supply your own screws and anchors as with any Ikea purchase that attaches to a wall)5
nice aesthetic but doesn't seem stable...AnonymousI really liked the simple look of the shelf and it looked like it would be easy to instal but was shocked when it came with TINY little screws and nothing else. The brackets holding the shelf also seem to be made to layer ontop of other ones for a multi-shelf look so it's not exactly stable on it's own and hard to screw properly to the wall. Here's hoping it doesn't fall on my head in the middle of the night! Wouldn't recommend :/2

Really nice quality. The shelf itself can be used w/ a modern front or traditional front, depending on how you install it. The brackets take away shelf space, but worth it for the look. Perfect in my daughters room.

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
