Malin and her colleagues dug deep into coffee and tea cultures to find out what tools people feel they can’t live without. They talked to specialists and investigated living, eating and drinking habits. “We wanted to develop items that make a difference, so we’ve focused on a few, but carefully selected products,” she states. The team cooperated with IKEA Test Lab in Älmhult, Sweden. It’s an IKEA version of a James Bond lab where prototypes are inspected and evaluated. “A couple of the things we checked were that the thermoses can keep fluids really warm for a long time. And that the glass mugs and glass pots are durable and comfortable, even though they look and feel light and airy,” says Malin.

Handle with careJordanLike all glass, be advised to handle with care and forethought. The vacuum holds the coffee hot for at least 12 hours. If you somehow get water inside the walls, lay the container sideways, preferably in the sun, and allow it to dry (about 24-48 hours. Easy to clean with dish soap and a bottle brush. Reasonable price, very good quality.
DO NOT BUYHayleyI bought this jug a little over a week ago. I use it for water and keep it at good temp. Today I go to drink out of it for the 4th time and there are chucks of glass in my water. I usually put it in a waterbottle so I’m afraid I may have consumed some.
Safety Concern!YoonjeongI used the bottle after cleaning it with water just three days. After the morning while refilling it with water, I discovered that the interrior glass was broken. I only used water at an appropriate temperature( not too hot or too cold) with the product because it is made of glass. I am deeply concerned about the stability and safety of the product.

Gap In SealMathangyI was really enjoying this flask, it certainly kept its contents hot. The only issue is the seal has a gap so water is now between the glass and the plastic, I can hear it when I shake the flask and the flask is empty. Nice but not so greatCeciliaThe heat tightens the seal which makes it difficult to open. It's hot for up to 6 hrs even if you rinse it with the boiled water first. It will probably retain cold water with ice chunks longer. It's too big for something that holds 1L of water.
