You need to drillMyroslavaThe handle looked like it was recommended with mezzanine bed, so I took it. But discovered after delivery that you need to drill the doors in order to install. I wish it would be written in big letters somewhere that it is not part of the set and that drilling will be required. I damaged the doors of my new bed as I ain't good at drilling and the handles were installed not quite straight. Also I had to drill on installed doors already as I left handles for the end. Anyway, I was able to put the last fourth handle straight and it took me an hour for four handles. I would not recommend to buy this model if you are looking for an easy solution for your doors.1
