Ratings and reviews

Creaking sound, didn't match expectationsAnonymous reviewerLess than a month in and can already get creaking sounds if anyone sits on the couch, let alone pulling out the bed and taking it out. 2 stars for the ease of pulling out the bed and the comfort so far. Cushions don't look that great when set up2
Amazing sofa bedThuMy parents love it so much. They can't stop praising how comfortable it is. It is firm which is what we prefer5
Good bed but bad sofaMelodieThe pull out bed is quite comfy, and easy to set-up and put away. However, I am not satisfied with the quality of the couch. The cushions have poor resilience, and sink between the seams. Terrible on the eyes and the bum. I can feel the springs below the cushion already and its only been 6 months. My first sofa purchase, and I'm very disappointed.2
It was great at firstRobinWe like(d) the look, the fabric, the functionality, and that it was actually pretty easy to assemble with a careful study of the instructions. Unfortunately this is not a couch that stands up to regular use. The seat cushions lasted a year (and one month with a houseguest) before we became intimately acquainted with the springs. I wish we'd read the reviews before purchase.3
Nicely packaged set up was a bit tricky two people maybe three would be better AnnaGreat couch, the fabric is so nice and the bed is alright for a hide a bed!! 5
Poor Quality CouchSilviaI bought this couch July 2024 and I am so disappointed. As other reviews have stated, the space between the cushions sinks to the springs making it super uncomfortable. It also looks ugly because there is now a visible sunken gap between the cushions. For the price I paid, I expected a couch that would last me longer than a year, this is a ridiculous situation. I have been a loyal Ikea customer for many years and this has left me wary of making large purchases at their store from now on. It would also be impossible for me to take the couch into the store for them to inspect it, so I'm really not sure what I can do now. Consider this a warning if you are thinking of getting this couch.1
Disappointed with Sofa Quality and Return PolicyDennisI’m very disappointed with the quality of the sofa I purchased. After just 6 months of use, the fabric already shows signs of wear, with small fabric balls (pilling) all over, making it look old and worn out. The fabric is also rough after a while. Even worse, the springs between the 3 seat cushions are extremely uncomfortable—if you sit in the middle, you can feel the springs pressing up, which makes the couch hard to enjoy unless only 3 people are using it. I attempted to return it but was told I was two days past the return period, which is frustrating considering the issues are clearly related to poor quality, not just personal preference. I expected better durability and comfort from IKEA. Definitely would not recommend this model.2
Poor quality EvelynPaid way too much for a couch that sinks in only after a few months. I purchased this May 2024 and within a few months the cushions in between started sinking so now when you sit, you only sit on the springs and it’s so uncomfortable. The only plus is the storage and the depth but for long lasting it is a 0/5. Couches are supposed to last more than a year. I need a new couch now. I do not recommend. 2
Not a good sofa Anonymous reviewerWood is made out of saw dust and not durable. Boards are misaligned Screws don't go in to the proper holes 1
Poor wood and screws are the wrong sizeAnonymous reviewerDo not buy this couch; The wood is not of good quality, cracks easily and is made of saw dust hence called "particle wood". Dimensions are wrong, I see uneven gaps in the boards. Threading on the screws are wrong. Need to have buy screws off a home Depot or some home hardware store. Buy at your discretion 1
Solid hide a bed MaureenLooks great and feel comfy. Love the grey fabric. Relatively easy to assemble. 5
Excellent qualitySarahWe've had this couch for a couple of months and are very happy with it, both as a couch and as a bed. The cushions and bed are very comfortable, especially if you get the padded mattress cover with the cooling side. The fabric has held up well to our dog's insistence that she can be there. I'm hoping IKEA releases replaceable cushion covers at some point because we'll probably need them.5
not very good qualityAndriiafter two days of use, there were some spots on the sofa1
