KitchenMikeInstalled a fairly large kitchen myself. I was a little overwhelmed at first by the amount of boxes, but took the time to separate (about four hours). After assembling a couple complete cabinets with drawers, and a few mistakes, the other 20 were not hard at all. Do yourself a favour, assemble them on a table at a comfortable height, and plan on quite a few hours to complete. Do not rush! Go to a kitchen design centre to order, they make it super easy. Pay the one time shipping fee, it’s worth it. 240 boxes were delivered right into my garage, which would have been multiple trips for me. When working with the design centre, anything that was back ordered, which was not that much, was shipped for free (included with the original shipping fee). Super happy with the completed kitchen and the London Ontario design centre was great (ask for Raj). And in the end, it was 1/2 the price than other big box stores, not including installation either way.5

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
