I followed the directions and even watched a youtube video on how to treat this specific cutting board. The cutting board has now split in 4 areas not even 24 hours after the first oiling. It appears it's made from very cheap wood (possibly not even real?). Definitely avoid.1

I have limited counter space in my dorm when I have applicances on top. Was able to lay it over my sink when needed to gain prep space without moving my appliances. Highly recommend for students who like to cook
Note: bamboo does splinter a bit and would recommend seasoning the board

Streamline cutting board.PamelaI love the bamboo cutting surface. I am not keen on the beveled edges as they make it very difficult to pick up off the counter. It would be better with straight edges and a groove for fingers to flip it over. 4
