The chopping board collects food juice in the milled groove and prevents it from spilling on to your countertop.

You can easily turn the chopping board and use both sides when you prepare food, because it has easy-to-grip slanted edges.

You can also use the chopping board as a serving tray for food such as cheese or charcuterie.

Can be placed over the bowl on BOHOLMEN, BREDSKÄR or FYNDIG sink to get an extra work surface for preparing food.

Made of bamboo, which is an easy-care, durable natural material that is also gentle on your knives.

The weight provides a stable base for cutting.

in a need of re-designJerrywhy did they bevel the edges of this cutting board the way they did? Why cut the edges of the boards towards the top, so you can NOT even pick it up from the surface?! Why not incorporate some kind of support pads on the bottom side of it, so it does not rock from side to side on my countertop?... as always with IKEA.... missing details in design or missing quality.. or both...3

Performs like it should. Doesn’t crack in half like the other ones Ikea sells. Oil it regularly, let it dry standing up, and it’ll last. Owned for four years and shows no signs of quitting now.
