Easy updateBettyI put these tiles over a tiled shower floor as a cheap and easy way to change the colour and style. It looks good and was easy to install. I cut the tiles to size with a coping saw. Too bad I can't upload a photo.
Temperature sensitiveMatthewThis will expand and contract with changes in temperature. Be mindful if you're making precise cuts as well as your furniture placement, it may cause some tiles to lift. Not a major issue, just something you should know.

Looked at the more substantial Runnen products, but they also looked like more of a challenge to maintain and darker colours I could see being a challenge on warmer days.
These are relatively easy to install - some struggles with getting them to lock together, but garden shears easily trimmed material to get around intrusions.
Have found some buckling in the heat as noted in other reviews (Ikea really needs to look at the materials involved), but nothing totally out of control. Yet. I anticipate they will lie flat again as they cool.
Overall appearance quite pleasant, but it might be nice if the product had edge runners (as is available for Runnen) to finish look and possibly help product lay flat.
Altappen mistakeKoraThis floor decking buckles in sunlight. Don't waste your money if your balcony or deck get direct sun, which presumably many do! Unfortunately I only googled reviews after the fact, didn't find any on Altappen but on other Ikea decking products that do the same thing.
Ikea's best recommendation is to "redistribute" weight. Well, that's not so easy on a small balcony where you don't have many options for where things like plant pots can be placed.
Too bad, it looks nice, but the buckling is a major flaw.
My fix has been to have a gap between two larger sections. Not great, but as Ikea won't take them back, it's all I can do.
Amazing product easy install, looks amazing.JonBalcony is 250sq feet, looks beautiful. East install and to cut with scissors, still have a couple left to cut but the picture shows done in one day a couple of hours.
Worth Every PennySusanThe tiles snap together very easily - a child can do it. The only tricky part is cutting them to make them fit around the edges. I used Ikea's taskrabbit to do that for me.
