Modern Look, Poor Refill DesignHanseulThe design looks quite modern and clean at first glance, but I was honestly a bit surprised when I actually tried to refill the salt and pepper. Normally, products like this have a separate inner container and a twist-open structure, but this one is just a metal top, a wooden base, and a rubber connector holding everything together.
So opening it isn’t easy—you have to force a fingernail or a tool between the metal and rubber parts to pry it open. And once the rubber seal separates from the metal, the contents inside can suddenly spill out all at once.
Refilling it isn’t very practical either. You basically have to flip the metal part upside down to refill it, but there’s no cap covering the dispensing holes, so salt or pepper can easily leak out during the process.
Overall, it feels quite impractical and poorly designed compared to other products I’ve used, so I’ll be returning it.
