No Longer GoodKonstantinI have two of these that I bought 2–3 years ago (they were made in China), and they’re fantastic. I recently bought another one, but the package says it was made in India, and the quality is terrible.
The wood is of much lower quality, the paint color is completely different, and it has a really weird odor. The metal parts are also poorly painted, with missing spots, and some of the threaded inserts are missing, so you can’t even bolt the pieces together.
I’m returning it for the second time and hoping the third one will at least be possible to assemble.

Pretty decentAlexanderAssembly wasn't the worst experience; the scratch awl is optional. My unit's got sort of a sickly pink hue to it that doesn't match the pictures; more "bad QC" than "natural wood variation", I think. Thankfully, It's not a veneer, and I can sand & restain it.

Classic, elegant and sturdy ( for wood lovers)RhodeI’ve had these shelving units (1 large + 2 small) to showcase my plants since 2020. I assembled them myself just by following the instructions. They are everything the title says and they are versatile able to look good in any decor. Since there was a risk of spilled water, I covered the wood with a clear plastic material. No complaints at all.

For Ikea, it's pretty good.BeckyI was very pleased to discover (especially at this price point) that the shelves are solid wood, rather than particle board. The assembled unit is lightweight because the metal frame is hollow, but it's also quite sturdy and stable. The look is great; attractive, and also doesn't scream "Ikea" when you look at it.
However, this was a total pain to assemble. The instructions were not clear enough to prevent me from completing a step with a part facing the wrong way, despite the fact that I was working slowly and carefully. As well, Ikea couldn't be bothered to drill holes in the wood shelves, and I don't own a drill, so I had the arduous task of getting 24 screws in by sheer force, which took ages. But then again, it's Ikea, so you can't expect a quality user experience.
Excellent ShelfHeatherVery handsome industrial styled shelf. Easy to put together and pretty sturdy, more than I was expecting. And it's very stylish. I've had my eye on this shelf for a while and I'm not disappointed by it one bit.
