Don't purchaseKarenBought this microwave with trim package. Looked great. Lasted less than 3 years. Can't find receipt for warranty although my entire kitchen is Ikea they need proof for the 1 item I don't have a receipt for. Spent more than $10,000 on my kitchen and they won't replace the microwave. Im currently trying to find a microwave that will fit in the space using the same trim package. Save your money.
Not a nice fight and our first one blew within 1 yearLisaIt's my second time buying this microwave and trim kit because sadly pur kitchen was configured with it. Our first microwave BLEW UP within 1 year. We replaced it and the new trim kit leaves gaps and is not a good fit for this wicrowave ! We're hoping our 2nd purchase of this microwave will not blow up !
Installation issues AlexGreat looking microwave and trim kit. Maybe too perfect of a fit however , during installation the remaining horizontal airspace between the “Nyttig support brackets “ after you install them is incredibly tight for the trim kit to slide back flush with the other cabinets . I measured it and the trim is 1cm wider than the space between the nyttig brackets. Since the trim is made of rigid plastic it is next to impossible to force it in. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue , and whether or not it is a manufacturing issue ? Would love if IKEA would elaborate further on this.
Interior LightingVeronicaLess than a year old. Used perhaps 50 times. Non-replaceable interior lighting is done. Please save your money. I really wish I had.
