The first time was when the cup was sitting in the dishwasher before it was run, and the second when just sitting on the counter. Did some research and found others were experiencing the same phenomenon. Glad someone wasn’t drinking out of it when it shattered, it could have really caused some damage.1

Sized upAnonymousHad the 30cl (300ml) size for many years; they held up very well despite raising young kids. Just bought the larger size (45cl) and am loving the increased capacity. I wouldn't want to go any larger in diameter though, or I would be concerned about gripping the glass securely. 5

They just blew up. Extremely dangerous. Their glass pieces spread out and posed a lot of danger to whoever walked by.
