    Not very coolMelanieNot really that cool and not really that breathable. It is better than the old one we had, but not a great improvement. It is lighter, though. We sewed 5 lines perpendicular to the lines that were currently sewn throughout the duvet to ensure it would not bunch when washed.3
    Cooler duvet for the summer heatTerryMy standard duvet was too hot to use - except in winter. This duvet offers a cooler standby option for warm summer nights and still works fine for less warm temperatures.5
    DisappointingKathyWe don't find this to be a "cooling" duvet. The fabric is actually a bit warming! As well, after not many sleeps, it's pilling in places and jewellery-wearers beware - it's easy to snag and run. Note it's off-white. Not a good buy.3

    DOWNGRADE! DISSATISFIED!!HallieI’m genuinely disappointed with IKEA’s current cooling duvet options. The STJÄRNSTARR was hands-down the best cooling duvet you offered-lightweight, breathable, and actually effective at temperature regulation. Discontinuing it was a huge mistake!! I regret not purchasing more! I tried replacing it with the GRASROTSFLY, and it doesn’t even come close. It feels heavier, traps heat, and completely misses the mark for anyone who actually needs a cooling duvet. Calling it a comparable alternative is misleading at best. For a brand that usually excels at thoughtful, functional design, the lack of truly cooling duvet options is frustrating. Please bring back STJÄRNSTARR -it filled a real need that your current lineup simply doesn’t. Ikea please give the people what they truly want!!!1

    Manufacturing ErrorVivianThe twin duvet said 64" wide, but it was only 50" wide when measured. We were a whole foot and a bit short, and it was quite obvious when placed in the duvet cover. Return desk didn't ask why returned it at all. Don't buy unless you want to waste gas going back to Ikea again.1
    The hottest cooling duvetDaniel WooThis cooling duvet is so hot and not breathable at all. I can feel it traps the air and keeps my legs and feet way too warm. I have another warm Ikea duvet and I believe this duvet could feel hotter than that warm duvet. I believe it has something to do with the silky material and they should have stuck to cotton. Please bring back the previous cooling duvet you discontinued. That was the best cooling duvet I’ve ever had.1
