Plastic joints on an $80 lamp?ErinI am honestly very surprised and disappointed to discover the joint, where you anchor the angle of the top part of the lamp, is made of cheap plastic. What? The place where screws are thread? This thing is doomed to fail in no time at all, especially if you want to adjust it regularly.
I’m disappointed that every corporation is insulating us with the cheap products for high prices. People calling this good quality are either too accustomed to bad quality or bots.

So disappointed - can't be repairedDianaI bought this lamp in the "as is" and it worked great for a few years. Then it started to droop. Turns out the connection is not a bolt, but a weird U-shaped piece with the threads on one side. The nut stripped and won't tighten, and there is no way to fix it. I LOVE the look of this lamp, but all the "brass" parts are plastic, and once anything breaks, it's done. I still have a "new" lamp, but in pieces. Steer clear. I've been buying Ikea products for years, and this is the first thing I've ever had fail.

I love it, but it has a design flawDianaI bought this lamp because of its attractive design. Installed it in my husband's office. However, in the past year or so I've gone in there and the shade is resting on the desk. Tried to tighten the wingnut, and it's stripped. So now I have to figure out how to repair it. I wish it was built to be a little more sturdy.

Great Reading LightMarcelleThis is a stylish and practical standing lamp. The two gold parts makes it more interesting than if it was just black. The light is concentrated enough for reading.
It was pretty easy to assemble. The important thing is to make sure the pieces are lined up correctly before joining them or you will have to take them apart and do it again.
