Organize your storage in a playful way
Colour-coding is a tried and true way to keep things organized, while also being fun to play with. We combined the best of two worlds to bring order to your home – and a smile to your face.

Yours and mine and what goes where
Storage can be both more effective and decorative with some colouring. Let everyone in the family choose a personal colour for their personal storage. The cabinets intended for anyone’s belongings are also given a colour. (This will require some painting, as IVAR isn’t available in the colours shown here.)
Customized cupboards for everyone
Naturally, a shared cabinet can still be personalized. A SKÅDIS pegboard makes it both easy and fun to arrange the contents, and just as easy to change as your needs evolve.
No room for confusion
Add a playful twist with portraits of your family members, corresponding with “their” colour (so no one can claim they didn’t know where to put their stuff).
Storage split down the middle
Contrasting shades also work well on a smaller scale. Different-coloured doors on a cabinet can mirror the division within, while the colours themselves make a bold design statement. Hanging KUNGSFORS net bags inside makes it easy to both collect stuff and bring it along.
An extra seat, an extra space
There’s only so much that you can fit into IVAR. Complement with a VALLENTUNA storage seat section, and you’ll have room to spare. Place it between shelves to create a cozy corner amidst all the tidiness.
A home within your home
A tidy home comes easy – or with less difficulty, at least – when every item has a designated spot. For frequently-used items (like a laptop), make a proper outline.
Let the music (and the kids) play
Having a system for everyday organization has a way of freeing up time for more enjoyable activities. If you turn a LIERSKOGEN valet stand into a music tower, chances are you can keep your youngsters in check as well.
We love to see our customers get creative with our products. Go for it! But please note that altering or modifying IKEA products so they can no longer be re-sold or used for their original purpose, means the IKEA commercial guarantees and your right to return the products will be lost.
