IKEA Lost and found

Did you lose something in one of our stores?

All items we find are kept at our Exchanges and returns area. There are two ways to enquire about your lost item:

  1. If you have recently lost an item, it is recommended that you return to the store in a few days to allow for the item to be found. The IKEA store will hold found items for up to 30 days.
  2. If you are unable to return to the store, you can contact us. Please provide the customer service representative with all the details of the lost article, such as:
    • Description of the item
    • Store where the article was lost
    • The date it was lost

How to claim your lost item

If your item has been found, we need to make sure that it belongs to you. Please provide as much detail as possible when claiming your item. Once we’ve made sure that the item belongs to you, you can collect it from the Exchanges and Returns area at the store where you lost it. The Exchanges and Returns area is by the exit in all of our stores.
