Safety Announcement SUNDVIK Changing Table/ Chest

IKEA is making a safety announcement for North American model of the SUNDVIK changing table/ chest in black-brown, grey-brown, and white.

IKEA has received 3 incidents on a model similar to the North American model due to the safety locking fittings not being used as intended when in the changing table position. None of these incidents occurred in Canada.

IKEA Canada is taking this opportunity to remind customers that when using the table, in the change table position, it must be securely locked into place by using the provided safety lock fitting. IKEA believes that the product is safe when used as intended and according to the instructions provided.

IKEA urges customers who have misplaced or lost the safety lock fittings to visit an IKEA store for a refund or exchange. No proof of purchase (receipt) is needed to obtain the replacement safety fittings. Customers can receive replacements for their safety lock fittings at the Returns & Exchanges department at any IKEA store or by calling the IKEA Customer Service toll-free, 1-800-661-9807.
