Salmon balls - fast food that’s good for you
No Youtube Player
We are proud to present these truly delicious salmon balls – a newcomer in our much loved family of Swedish meatballs, chicken meatballs and the plant-based veggie balls. The salmon balls are easy to cook and eat, and their carbon footprint is seven times lower than that of our meatballs.

Seafood is part of our company’s Swedish heritage. Made from ASC-certified salmon with the addition of MSC-certified cod, and seasoned with seaweed and lemongrass, the salmon balls are a tasty new alternative. Find a restaurant near you.

When you buy a bottle of water at the IKEA stores, you will be helping to provide a school meal to someone who needs it.

We are partnering with The Earth Group to sell Earth Water bottled water. The Earth Group is a Canadian organization, based in Edmonton which supports the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). Each year, The Earth Group provides a minimum of 400,000 school meals to children.

In addition to providing food assistance in emergencies, WFP places specific emphasis on school meals for children. As well as providing vital nourishment, school meals act as a safety net for struggling families and help keep children in school. School meals are a good way to channel vital nourishment to children from families with financial challenges. Having a full stomach helps them concentrate better on lessons.

The partnership between IKEA Canada and The Earth Group will help WFP provide an additional 150,000 meals per year. Earth Water is locally sourced Canadian water that is packaged in 100 per cent recycled PET bottles that are also landfill biodegradable.
