IKEA Canada recalls GLIVARP white frosted extendable dining table
[National]  Recall due to a risk of the extension leaf falling
Burlington, ON - IKEA urges all customers that purchased the white frosted GLIVARP extendable dining table to stop using the recalled product and contact IKEA for a refund.

IKEA has received customer reports of the extension piece in the GLIVARP extendable dining table detaching from the rails and falling. There is a risk of the extension detaching from the rails which may lead to the collapse of the extension.

IKEA takes product safety very seriously and the safety of its customers is a top priority, which is why this recall was issued as a precautionary measure. All IKEA products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation.

IKEA urges all customers who own a white frosted GLIVARP table to return the product to IKEA for a full refund or exchange for a similar product of equal value. IKEA does not require any proof of purchase (receipt). Customers can return the product at the Returns & Exchanges department at any IKEA store for a full refund or call IKEA Customer Service toll-free, 1-800-661-9807 for more information.
